Weather Policy
Bump & Jump reserves the right to cancel hires due to unsafe weather conditions (such as heavy rain or winds/gusts exceeding 24MPH). In these instances, booking fees can be transferred to an alternative date, but no refunds will be issued. Safety is our absolute priority.
Bookings Policy
This contract and our insurance cover Bump & Jump staff, products, and equipment only. We are not responsible for any external hire companies or equipment. Customers are responsible for any harm or damage caused by third-party services on-site.
Booking Confirmation & Venue Suitability
It is the customer's responsibility to measure the venue before confirming a booking. Bump & Jump is not responsible if equipment does not fit due to unconfirmed dimensions. The full hire amount will be charged regardless of any changes required on the day of the event.
- Our largest bouncy castles are 15x11ft (12ft height).
- Ball pits are typically 8x8ft.
- Soft play sets can be adjusted to suit your floor space.
A booking fee is required to secure your specific date and time. This amount varies depending on the package selected via our online booking system.
Face Paint & Glitter Tattoos Policy
When providing face painting services, we use high-quality Snazaroo paints which are fragrance and paraben-free. For full ingredient lists, please see the Snazaroo website.
- Cleaning Surcharge: An additional £20 surcharge applies to any party where face paint is present. Please note: This £20 fee is non-refundable, even if no face paint is found on the equipment at the end of the hire, as it covers administrative and specialized prep requirements.
- Refusal of Service: The painter may refuse service without refund in cases of bad language, poor attitude, or violence.
- Age Restrictions: Children aged 3 or under should only receive small designs.
- Patch Tests: A tester is required 30 minutes before full application to prevent allergic reactions. Bump & Jump is not responsible for reactions if a tester was refused.
Safety of Staff
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward mistreatment of our team. Staff may pack up and depart without refund if they feel intimidated or threatened. Any acts of violence will result in immediate police involvement.
Equipment Care and Safety (The Golden Rules!)
All equipment must be treated with respect. We carry out two inspections (before and after the party); any tampering or damage will result in repair charges.
THE GOLDEN RULES:
- NO shoes, NO food, NO glasses, NO liquids, and NO toys on the equipment.
- NO FACE PAINT is allowed on the inflatables or soft play units.
- A £50 cleaning fee applies for stains. If the stain cannot be removed, the Hirer is responsible for the full replacement cost of the unit.

Overall Responsibility
The Hirer is solely responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all guests and for upholding these terms. You are liable for any damage or interference caused by yourself or any person within your party. By signing your booking form or ticking the agreement box on our booking page, you confirm your agreement to all terms listed above.
