## 1. Booking & Payment
1.1 A **£30 non-refundable booking fee** is required to secure your date and equipment. This fee is deducted from your total balance but **is not refundable under any circumstances** - including cancellation, date change, or weather-related transfer. It covers administrative costs, equipment reservation, and holding your slot exclusively.
1.2 The remaining balance is due no later than **7 days before** your event date. If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain the £30 fee.

## 2. Weather & Cancellation Policy
Bump & Jump reserves the right to cancel hires due to unsafe weather conditions (heavy rain or winds/gusts exceeding **24mph / Force 5**). In these instances, your £30 booking fee will be transferred to an alternative agreed date, but **no refunds will be issued**. Safety is our absolute priority.
If you cancel or reschedule:
- The £30 booking fee is **retained and non-refundable** regardless of notice period
- Transfers are at our discretion and subject to availability

## 3. Venue Suitability & Dimensions
It is the customer's responsibility to measure the venue before booking. You must ensure sufficient space and ceiling height. If equipment cannot fit, **full hire amount remains payable** - no refunds.
**Equipment Dimensions:**
- **Standard Castles:** 15ft × 11ft footprint | 12ft height
- **Largest / Premium Castles:** 28ft × 15ft footprint | 15ft height
- Ball pits: approx 8ft × 8ft
- Soft play: dimensions available on request - adjustable to your space

## 4. Face Paint & Glitter Tattoos - Explicit Ban
**Face paint, body paint, and glitter tattoos are NOT permitted** on any person using the inflatables or soft play equipment at any time.
- Any evidence of face paint or glitter tattoos on or within the equipment will incur a **£50 non-negotiable cleaning fee**
- If staining cannot be removed, you are liable for the **full replacement cost** of the affected unit

## 5. Staff Conduct
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward mistreatment of our team. Staff may pack up and depart without refund if they feel intimidated or threatened. Any acts of violence will result in immediate police involvement.

## 6. Equipment Care & Safety - The Golden Rules
All equipment is inspected before and after every hire. Any damage or tampering will incur repair charges.
**THE GOLDEN RULES - STRICTLY ENFORCED:**
- ❌ **NO shoes** on equipment
- ❌ **NO food, drink, sweets, or chewing gum** on or near equipment
- ❌ **NO glasses, keys, phones, or sharp objects** in pockets
- ❌ **NO climbing walls, nets, or outside edges**
- ❌ **NO hanging from roof or netting**
- ❌ **NO running, pushing, or rough play**
- ❌ **NO face paint or glitter tattoos** on equipment - see Section 4
All equipment complies with BS EN 14960, is PIPA/RPII & PAT tested, and carries £5M Public Liability Insurance. An adult aged 18+ must supervise at all times.

## 7. Overall Responsibility
The Hirer is solely responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all guests and for upholding these terms. You are liable for any damage caused by yourself or anyone in your party. By ticking the agreement box on our booking page, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to all terms above.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
